1/4 cup butter
1/4 honey
1 cup pecans (or walnuts)
pinch of cayanne pepper
Melt butter in sauce pan. Add honey and heat until honey is thin and mixed with butter. Add pinch of pepper, stir. Stir in pecans or walnuts. Turn low and stir about 3 minutes.
If you like them toasted. Heat oven to broil, spray glass casserole with oil, turn pecans or walnuts into pan and spread to 1 layer. Place under broiler on lower shelf and leave for about a minute or two. When nuts start to brown, remove from oven. Cool in pan, but stir every few minutes to keep them from sticking together.
